Randolph Arroo

Dr Randolph Arroo is Principal Lecturer in Natural Products at the Leicester School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health & Life Sciences. In the mid 1980s, Dr Arroo started work in the Biotechnology unit of the Dutch Institute for Applied Science (TNO) on the production of medicinal plant secondary metabolites. Late 1990s, he continued this line of research as coordinator of an EC-funded biotechnology project on plant cell factories as a source of anticancer drugs.
